Founded in 2018, The El Masarawi Centre South Africa is a subsidiary of the Imaam Shaatibi Institute and has tirelessly worked to produce well-balanced, well-rounded individuals who are knowledgeable in the eloquence and teachings of the Holy Quran and Sunnah.
EMC (SA) proudly stands as one of the only one institutions that take you on a journey from foundation phase Quranic education all through to higher level Qiraa-aat.

I am really grateful for all that I've learnt at the school, because I went there to get ijazah and sanad, which was always a dream for me to accomplish. Alhamdulillah I was taught to recite the Quran as it was revealed, by giving every harf it's haqq and reciting as beautiful as I can. I first read for hafs, then read for warsh. I recall listening to warsh over the radio and always longing to recite it, and with Allah's permission and then all the efforts The El Masarawi Centre put into me I was not only able to learn it but excel in it and come first in the warsh competition in 2021.
